Brandy Slush is one of the most favored of current trending meals in the world. It is easy, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. It’s appreciated by millions daily. Brandy Slush is something which I’ve loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look fantastic.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have brandy slush using 8 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Brandy Slush:
  1. Take 12 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate
  2. Get 12 oz. can frozen lemonade concentrate
  3. Make ready 1 cup apricot brandy
  4. Take 1 cup vodka
  5. Take 24 oz. pineapple juice
  6. Make ready 12 oz. peach mango juice blend
  7. Take 12 oz. seltzer water (to help freeze quicker)
  8. Prepare 2 empty 1.75 liter juice bottles (to store unfrozen slush)
Steps to make Brandy Slush:
  1. Combine everything and mix well. I split the mix between two pitchers and pour back and forth a bunch of times because I don't own a container large enough to mix it all at once.
  2. Pour mixture into empty juice bottles. This will make the next step easier and allow you to store whatever you don't use into the fridge for later.
  3. Pour mixture into ice cube trays and freeze overnight.
  4. Once frozen, place cubes into a zip lock freezer bag and mash it into a slush with your bare hands. No, not by squeezing the cubes bare-handed. Seal the bag first and then squeeze.
  5. Use a large spoon or ice cream scoop to put slush into a glass and then pour on your favorite citrus-y soda (Sun Drop, Sierra Mist, 7-Up, or similar). I use a 50/50 slush to soda ratio.

Foods That Can Make Your Mood Better

Many of us have been conditioned to believe that comfort foods are bad and must be avoided. However, if your comfort food is candy or junk food this is true. Other times, however, comfort foods can be completely nutritious and it’s good for you to eat them. There are some foods that actually can raise your moods when you consume them. If you feel a little bit down and in need of an emotional pick me up, try several of these.

Eggs, believe it or not, can be truly great at beating back depression. You should be sure, however, that what you make includes the egg yolk. The yolk is the part of the egg that is the most important in terms of helping elevate your mood. Eggs, specifically the egg yolks, are loaded with B vitamins. These B vitamins are fantastic for helping to boost your mood. This is because they help improve the function of your neural transmitters, the components of your brain that dictate your mood. Eat an egg and cheer up!

Make a few trail mix of nuts or seeds. Your mood can be improved by consuming peanuts, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and other types of nuts. This is possible as these foods are rich in magnesium which raises serotonin production. Serotonin is the “feel good” chemical that directs your brain how you feel day in and day out. The more you have of it, the better you will feel. Not only that but nuts, specifically, are a terrific protein source.

If you wish to battle depression, you should eat some cold water fish. Wild salmon, herring, mackerel, trout, and tuna are all high in omega-3 fats and DHA. Omega-3 fatty acids and DHA are two things that actually help the grey matter in your brain run a lot better. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can greatly raise your mood.

Grains can be wonderful for overcoming a bad mood. Quinoa, millet, teff and barley are all really excellent for helping increase your happiness levels. They help you feel full as well which can really help to make your mood better. Feeling famished can actually make you feel awful! These grains can help your mood elevate as it’s not at all difficult for your body to digest them. They are easier to digest than other foods which helps kick up your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, improves your mood.

Green tea is wonderful for moods. You were sure green tea had to be included in this article, right? Green tea is found to be chock-full of an amino acid called L-theanine. Studies prove that this specific amino acid can basically induce brain waves. This will improve your brain’s concentration while also loosening up the rest of your body. You knew green tea could help you feel better. Now you know that green tea helps you to raise your moods as well!

As you can see, you don’t need to stuff your face with junk food when you are wanting to feel better! Try these tips instead!
