Instructions to make Dan wake:
- In a bowl, pour in your seived flour and baobab powder (not much) mix them together
- In another bowl, put in your potash and add water to it
- Sieve the potash water into your flour mixture and mix it to a paste
- Get a pot of boiling water and put the paste little by little like the size below
- Allow to cook for atleast 8-10 minutes and then seive into cold water
- Slice your onion, tomato, cucumber and boiled eggs
- Fry you oil
- To set it or dress, put your danwake dumplings into a plate or bowl, add a little amount of oil, add in your bullion cube and mix, then add your veggies along with the egg and lastly add your pepper. Mix in and eat. A cold drink is required for those that don't like pepper
