Instructions to make Danwake:
- Grind the maize, cassava & beans in the grinding machine mix with the flour & grinded baobab & take a portion of it. Soak the white potassium in water & use it to make a watery dough.
- Make sure you squeeze it well, knead & knead gently until the dough looks soft.
- Set water on flame & allow it to boil, take portion of the dough & put as shown.
- Allow it to boil & boil, do not close the pot entirely. Taste it by picking one & open the inside in cold water.
- Serve with maggi seasoning cube, pepper, fried vegetable oil & sliced cucumber.

Some grains are really great for fighting off bad moods. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all great for helping you be in a happier state of mind. They can help you feel full for longer as well, which is a mood improver. It’s not difficult to feel depressed when you feel famished! The reason these grains can improve your mood is that they are not difficult to digest. They are simpler to digest than other foods which helps raise your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, elevates your mood.
Your mood can actually be helped by green tea. You just knew it had to be in here somewhere, right? Green tea has been found to be chock-full of an amino acid called L-theanine. Studies prove that this specific amino acid can basically induce brain waves. This helps improve your mental energy while simultaneously relaxing the rest of your body. You probably already knew it is not hard to get healthy when you consume green tea. Now you know that applies to your mood too!
