- Prepare 600 g strong white flour
- Prepare 150 g strong whole meal flour
- Take 10 g yeast
- Get 1 teaspoon black treacle
- Get 75 g mixed seeds
- Prepare 375 ml warm water

Steps to make Multi seed loaf:
- Mix flours and yeast in a bowl. Dissolve the treacle in the warm water.
- Add the water/treacle mix to the flour and mix until you have a soft dough.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured top and knead for 10 minutes until the dough is elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover an leave to rise, or place in a prover, for an hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and turn out on to lightly floured surface. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes adding the seeds as you do so.
- Split the dough into two portions and place each in a lightly oiled tin.
- Cover again, or put back into a prover, for 40 minutes or until doubled in size.
- While the dough is proving for the second time preheat the oven to Gas 4/electric 180c.
- Place the tins into the middle of the oven and cook for 30-40 minutes until the bread is golden and the base sounds hollow when tapped.
- Allow to cool and then enjoy.

Use Food to Elevate Your Mood
For the most part, people have been taught to believe that “comfort” foods are bad for the body and should be avoided. This is possible since these foods have a bunch of magnesium which boosts your production of serotonin. Serotonin is the “feel good” natural substance that dictates to your brain how you feel at all times. The more serotonin you have, the happier you are going to feel. Not only that, nuts, particularly, are a terrific source of protein.
Cold water fish are wonderful for eating if you wish to battle depression. Cold water fish like tuna, trout and wild salmon are chock full of DHA and omega-3s. DHA and omega-3s are two things that raise the quality and the function of your brain’s gray matter. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can actually help you fight depression.
Grains can be good for driving away a bad mood. Quinoa, barley, millet, etc are terrific at helping you feel happier. They help you feel full also which can actually help to improve your mood. It’s easy to feel low when you feel famished! These grains can elevate your mood as it’s not at all hard for your body to digest them. They are simpler to digest than other foods which helps bring up your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, improves your mood.
Your mood could truly be helped by green tea. You were just anticipating to read that here, weren’t you? Green tea has a lot of an amino acid known as L-theanine. Studies show that this particular amino acid can actually stimulate brain waves. This helps improve your mental energy while simultaneously relaxing the rest of your body. You likely already knew it is not difficult to get healthy when you consume green tea. Now you know that green tea can improve your mood as well!
