Soemtimes, comfort foods can be perfectly nourishing and good for us to eat. Several foods honestly do elevate your mood when you eat them. When you feel a little down and need an emotional boost, try a few of these.

Eggs, would you believe, are terrific for helping you battle depression. Just make sure that you do not throw away the yolk. When you would like to cheer yourself up, the egg yolk is the most vital part of the egg. Eggs, particularly the yolks, are full of B vitamins. These B vitamins are wonderful for helping to boost your mood. This is because they help in improving the function of your neural transmitters, the components of your brain that dictate your mood. Consume an egg and cheer up!

Put together a trail mixfrom various seeds and nuts. Your mood can be elevated by consuming peanuts, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and so on. This is because these foods are loaded with magnesium, which helps to increase your production of serotonin. Serotonin is the “feel good” chemical that tells your brain how you feel at all times. The more serotonin you have, the happier you will feel. Not only that, nuts, particularly, are a fantastic protein source.

They help you feel full too which can really help to better your mood. It’s not difficult to feel depressed when you feel famished! These grains can help your mood elevate because it’s not at all difficult for your body to digest them. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps jumpstart a rise in your sugar levels which in turn brings up your mood to a happier place.

Green tea is wonderful for moods. You were sure green tea had to be included in this article, right? Green tea is rich in an amino acid called L-theanine. You likely already knew how easy it is to be healthy when you drink green tea. And now you know it can help you be happier as well!
