  1. Prepare 1 kilo bitterleaf
  2. Make ready 1 spoon black pepper
  3. Get 1 milk cup crayfish
  4. Take 1 kilo pomo

  6. Prepare 1 whole stock fish
  7. Prepare 2 big round dry fish
  8. Get 2 seasoning cube(knorr)

  12. Prepare 1 milk cup red oil
Steps to make Bitter Leaf Soup:
  1. Wash and boil bitterleaf to remove most of the bitterness
  2. Wash beef, Pomo, Stockfish and place in a clean pot. Add seasoning cube and salt. Boil till tender.
  3. Wash and boil cocoyam till tender. Pound to form a paste and set aside
  4. Add red oil to the cooked beef and stockfish, add cocoyam and cook for 5minutes. Add native seasoning, salt, crayfish, seasoning cube, black pepper and cook for another 15minutes till cocoyam is no longer seen in the soup.
  5. Add bitter leaf, cook for 5minutes. Bring down and serve with fufu or semi.
