- Add the vanilla,egg and cinnamon. Mix well till nicely incorporated.
- Grease a square 8"x8" inch dish with butter or oil. Meanwhile, clean the strawberries and core them. Cut into chunks. If you like it small, you can cut in the way you prefer.
- Coat them with the corn flour and remaining sugar. add the almond powder also.
- Now into the dish add the 2/3 of the crumb mix and flatten with your palm softly.
- Add the strawberry filling and spread evenly. Layer the remaining part of the crumb mix. You can sprinkle some big crumbs crushed from the mix on the layer.
- Garnish with the roasted flakes and cornflakes. For extra crunchiness add the brown sugar over the dish.
