- Prepare 2 tbsp ●Mirin
- Take 2 tbsp ● Usukuchi soy sauce
- Make ready 1/2 tsp ●Salt
- Prepare 3 tbsp ●Cooking sake
- Make ready 1 as required Dashi stock
- Prepare 1 to preference Sesame oil
Steps to make Okinawan-Style Mixed Rice "Kufua Juushii":
- These are the ingredients. Soak the shiitake mushrooms in water, boil the pork, and cut everything into small pieces.
- Wash the rice, then add the ● seasonings and add dashi stock in place of water (you could also add the liquid from soaking the shiitake mushrooms).
- Add all the ingredients from Step 1 except the green onions and start the rice cooker.
- Once it has cooked, mix in the sesame oil and green onions. Check the taste. If it's too weak, add some salt. It's ready!
- I added Hijiki and sesame oil make a great combination!
