Instructions to make Peas and plain rice:
- Wash the peas and put in a cooking pan, add 1 cup of water and small amount of salt,cover and put on heat to let it boil for about 20 minutes.Remove it and put in a separate bowl and rinse the cooking pan.
- Cut the onions, garlic, coriander and green capsicum in a dish.Cut the tomatoes separately in another dish.
- To the cooking pan, add oil and let it fry for 1 minute then add the mixture of garlic, onions, coriander and capsicum.Let them fry until the onions turn golden brown, then add tomatoes. Cover and let the mixture cook until soft.
- To the mixture, add the already boiled peas and turn thoroughly to let it mix well. Then add royco and mix before adding 1/2 cup water for stew.Cover and let it cook for some time.
- To another pan,add a little oil then measure 4 cups of water used for rice,and a pinch salt in the cooking pan. Allow it to boil before adding rice.Cook until the water is drained and ready to serve.
