  1. Chop cabbage however u like big chunks or small strips if big it will take longer to cook
  2. Start by fryin sausage onion and bacon together stirring it for like 10 minutes or so keep everything in pot drippings and all and put cabbage in pot and keep stirring until cabbage starts wilting
  3. If using can broth add broth and half a cup of water and all the other ingredients if using bouillon cubes add 2 cups water and rest of ingredients cook on medium heat for 20 minutes stirring occasionally
  4. Reduce heat to medium low And cover still occasionally stirring till cabbage is done.
  5. Enjoy over rice or however you like sometimes i also add some frozen collard greens in it as well when its close to being done
