  1. Get Carrots
  2. Take Cabbage
  3. Take Cauliflower
  4. Take Broccoli
  5. Make ready Pickle masala
  6. Get 2 X Table Spoon Mastard seeds
  7. Take 1,5 Cup Viniger
  8. Prepare Oil
  9. Take 10 X Curry leaf
  10. Take 3 X whole chillies
Steps to make Pickle (Veg Pickle):
  1. Lets get straight to it. Chop your Carrot or grate them and Cabbage. refer to pictures for idea of size and shape of the carrots. Broccoli and cauliflower i recommend just breaking them apart trim the stems a little.
  2. Put your stove on low. Put some oil in the pot add your 2 table spoons of mastard seeds throw in your chopped curry leaves, put 3 whole chillies then add 2 table spoon pickle masala ensure stove is on low we dont want the Masala to burn then throw in all your chopped veggies. Gently stir them we want the veggies to be still crunchy keep the heat on low.
  3. After 1 min add your 1,5 cups of viniger. 2 table spoon of crushed garlic salt to taste and let it simmer for 5 min. Keep stirring you are welcome to add more pickle masala you can also put chilli powder if you like it hotter. Some may prefer adding a teaspoon of suger to the mix.

These are two things that really help the grey matter in your brain function a lot better. It’s true: chomping on a tuna fish sandwich can really help you fight depression.

Some grains are truly great for fighting off bad moods. Quinoa, millet, teff and barley are all truly wonderful for helping boost your happiness levels. They fill you up better and that can help improve your moods as well. Feeling starved can be terrible! These grains can elevate your mood as it’s not at all difficult for your body to digest them. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps promote a rise in your blood sugar which in turn brings up your mood to a happier place.

Your mood can actually be helped by green tea. You were just anticipating to read that, weren’t you? Green tea has been found to be rich in an amino acid called L-theanine. Studies have found that this amino acid actually induces brain waves. This helps sharpen your mental energy while at the same time making the rest of your body more relaxed. You were already aware that green tea could help you become healthier. And now you know it can help you be happier also!
