Sweet And Spicy Punjabi Winter Pickle -gobi Gajar Shalgam ka Achaar. This sweet and sour achar/relish is made with cauliflower, turnips and carrots. I have used baby carrots for this recipe but feel free to use regular carrots (sliced), baby carrots will get. Shalgam, Gajar and Gobhi ka achar is a mixed pickle made with turnip, carrots and cauliflower, served as accompaniment to the meal plate.
Instructions to make Gajar and gobhi ka mitha achar:
- First of all wash the carrots and cauliflower. After that dry them in sun.
- Now take a pan heat the oil add cumin seeds, ginger and garlic paste and roast it add carrot and cauliflower, black pepper, red chilli powder, salt and turmeric powder and coriander powder and mix well.
- Now add jaggery and cook for 5 minutes in low flame to melt Jaggery.
- Mix it properly and store in a air tight and clean container.
I have used baby carrots for this recipe but feel free to use regular carrots (sliced), baby carrots will get.
