Eggs, would you believe, are wonderful for helping you fight depression. You must make sure, however, that what you make includes the egg yolk. The yolk is the most important part of the egg iwhen it comes to helping elevate your mood. Eggs, the egg yolk especially, are stuffed full of B vitamins. These B vitamins are terrific for helping to raise your mood. This is because they help in bettering the function of your neural transmitters, the components of your brain that dictate your mood. The more serotonin you have, the happier you will feel. Not only that but nuts, particularly, are a fantastic source of protein.

If you would like to beat depression, you should eat some cold water fish. Wild salmon, herring, mackerel, trout, and tuna are all full of omega-3s and DHA. It’s the truth: consuming tuna fish sandwiches can truly help you overcome your depression.

Grains can be wonderful for driving away a bad mood. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all wonderful for helping you feel better.
